Off The Page @ The Bush (the Bush Studios, formerly Loftus Studios and home of BBC Radio 4 Drama) is a perfectly located voice recording studio, in the heart of central London.
Location: This studio has hosted the best of the best for over 30 years, and is situated close to 3 fantastic tube stops (Shepherds Bush, Wood Lane & Shepherds Bush Market stations), as well as numerus buses, with plenty of local parking. The studio is right next to the Westgate shopping centre, and only 1 mile from the A40, making it one of the most accesible studios in London.
Gear: We run Protools Ultimate, and are fully online & remote compatible with any remote software you need. We also have a huge range of mics available to cater to your every recording need. There is also plenty of space in the large booth for facial capture and part motion capture if needed.
The Booth
This booth is professionally acoustically-treated for pristine sound, warmed up with a statement rug and enough space to really get comfortable - and if you’re comfortable, you sound better—it’s science (and vibes). Every mic, cable, and chair is exactly where it needs to be to give you the best experience possible.
The booth generously fits 2 actors, and ready for seated and standing sessions. The booth caters for those who prefer headphones, and those who prefer a feedback monitor, and comes with a HD screen, remotely controlled from the control room

The Control Room
This is where you’ll often find our core team - Hugh, Harry, Hannah & Gina, bringing projects to life (with the help of our creative quality control handler Oats 🐶 who takes acoustics (and nap breaks) very seriously).
Warm lighting, multiple workstations, desk spaces, and a lived-in feel that invites long sessions and sharp focus. It’s built for collaboration, problem-solving, and those quiet moments when everything finally clicks. And a sofa bed for the extra long work nights!
The Heart of the Office
The unofficial heart of The Bush. A small but thoughtfully set-up space for good tea, quick refuels, and ideas that need a minute to land before heading back into the booth.
Plus we have another breakout desk here which can be closed off, if you need to make private calls, or work outside the studio environment.
The Boudoir
Our bathroom is clean, comfortable, and exactly what you want it to be when you need a moment to yourself (especially with all the water consumed in between takes).
Thoughtful touches, good lighting, and the reassuring knowledge that in here, no one can hear you scream! We even have a walk in shower for those exceptionally hard-worked actors!
